PSE Sinister Review:

PSE Sinister is an AMP single cam bow made from airplane grade aluminum.  The grips on this bow are thinner which makes it easier for placement of hands.  It is lightweight and compact, and a bare bow weighs less than four pounds making it less cumbersome and ideal for carrying. The cam ball bearings
are sealed which promotes longevity under normal shooting conditions. It has a short axle to axle length measuring 28” and a brace height of 7-1/4” that makes it easier to get into tight spaces. The shorter brace height also helps increase speed. Its riser has tuning marks built in that help tuners fine tune the bow.

For those who like the look as well as the feel of a good bow, PSE Sinister offers four different colors:  black, Skulworks, Mossy Oak Breakup Infinity, and Infinity limbs with a black riser.  PSE is known for their nice finishes accomplished through a dipping process that produces an almost flawless bow.

One of the things that you should know about this bow is the slight stiffness of the draw cycle, although it does not take away from the bow’s performance.  It is more noticeable on this bow because of the cam that has a 75% let off unlike many bows that have 80% let off.  Overall it is an excellent product and is highly recommended for archers of all skill levels.

PSE offers two packages – a ready to shoot package that includes accessories like a flexxtech stabilizer, a mongoose quiver, a peep sight and more.  The field ready package includes the ready to shoot accessories plus four carbon force arrows, a soft bow case, and a TruFire Hurricane Release Aid.
