5 First-person shooter games to play in 2020

The new year is upon us and the anticipation is growing in the videogame community for the top new games set for release in 2020. Every year, first-person shooter games are some of the most highly anticipated and loved releases and 2020 should be no different. If you are looking for the latest free Las Vegas slots, bonuses, and tips, then you can find them before wagering on your favourite casino games.

A number of first-person shooter games will see the light of day but not all of them will be worth your time and money. So, which first-persons shooter games should you play in 2020?

  1. Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Quarantine

There have been over 20 versions of Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six videogame series. The game series famously takes first-person shooters up against terrorist organisations. Rainbow Six Quarantine will be very different than previous installments of the game franchise as players compete against a mutated virus that threatens to bring down mankind.

Although few details have been leaked, it is believed players will work in teams to rescue individuals infected by the mutated virus. Don’t expect Rainbow Six Quarantine until the end of 2020. In fact, it could be held back until 2021 if Ubisoft isn’t happy with the storyline and gameplay.

  1. Dying Light 2

Dying Light was a hit debut in 2015 leading players up against Zombies. Developed by Techland, the original game took players through a zombie infested apocalyptic land to destroy the undead. One of the big differences in the Dying Light 2 and the original is the choices players can make to their characters and game campaigns. A player’s choices will affect the game as it unfolds and zombies attack.

  1. Doom Eternal

The next installment of the Doom franchise is set for release on 20 March. The game will initially come out on PS4 and Xbox One with a later release to be seen on Nintendo Switch. Doom Eternal will pick up where the 2016 reboot left off as players control Doom Slayer and fight the forces of Hell. Players will shoot demons and battle their ways through Hell on Earth.

  1. Halo: Infinite

A release date has not been set for Halo: Infinite nor has a lot of information surrounding the game been given. Still, Halo: Infinite should be an outstanding first-person shooter keeping players coming back for more.

Halo: Infinite follows Master Chief with a throwback to previous Halo games for the character’s armour. Microsoft is keeping the information regarding the game to a minimum to surprise fans of the game when it drops later this year.

  1. Cyberpunk 2077

The anticipation is out of this world for Cyberpunk 2077. It is set for release on 16 April and will quickly become one of the best-selling games of the year. Developed by CD Projekt Red, the same company that created The Witcher series, Cyberpunk 2077 is set in the future and follows a mercenary who must take on odd jobs to make money. Players can alter their mercenary and the decisions they make. Each decision that is made changes the outcome of the game.
